I appreciate the compliments I get on my bird photography. I like to think I’m pretty good at it. But I’m not playing in the same league as the winning photographers in the Bird Photographer of the Year 2026 contest sponsored by Birds on the Brink, a UK-based charity funding bird science and restoration projects. These photographs are good!
