This is one of the osprey nests we were watching. On our previous visit we noticed the youngsters were getting pretty big, and apparently they got big enough and the family moved out. The crows seemed mighty interested in the nest, which suggests they might not have a sensitive sense of smell. Between fish guts and osprey poop, that nest must be pretty ripe.
