Let’s start with a couple housekeeping notes. Some have asked how to enlarge the photos in the daily email. Different email programs do things differently and I can give no advice about them, but there is a link you can click to open the email in your web browser. There you can easily enlarge the photos.

When replying through the comments link, please include the date of the email you are commenting about. The system doesn’t automatically include that.

OK, let’s put the broom and dustpan back into the closet and see an osprey do a little housekeeping of its own. Birds are pretty clever at scrounging nesting materials. This osprey found a useful bit of cardboard from our local online retailer you may have heard of.
