4/25: Happy Birthday, Joyce!

Today is the birthday of the other proprietor of this shebeen, my wife Joyce Erickson. We make for a pretty good team out there in birdland. She‘s better at spotting birds, I’m better at hearing them. As it’s nesting season, she’s paying particular attention to tree snags with promising holes, and spotted this Northern Flicker who’s taken possession of this one to raise a family.
