Another example of why you keep going out there. I’ve walked past this small pond on Discovery Park’s north beach trail a hundred times. Mostly I see sparrows, juncos, and ducks. I’ve even seen river otters a few times. But I’d never seen a green heron there. Wow! Haven’t seen one there since.
